Watch this enlightening blogcast with show host Jeffery Boyle as he interviews Casey Combden. During this blogcast, Casey discusses the concept of Mind Projection Fallacy, which essentially boils down to your perceptions of the world shape your reality but if you can change your perceptions, you can change your reality.
Casey discusses how many people’s perceptions may be preventing them from truly succeeding.
Casey then outlined the three most significant ways we can change the way we see the world around us.
1) Pay attention to what you listen to you (all the different means of getting information by listening – radio, etc.).
2) Pay attention to what are you watching and viewing.
3) Pay attention to who you are associating with.
This last one is the single biggest factor in being able to change your view of the world around you. You take on the expectations of people that you associate with without even realizing it. If you can spend as much time as possible with people that are like minded and going in the direction that you want to go, then you will start going in that direction as well. And it is even more powerful when you intentionally start modeling them. People can literally become like the people that they associate with.
Another powerful concept Casey shared is you can have whatever you want as long as you are willing to learn what you don’t know.
