Low expectations yield low results. Very few network marketers have the guts to challenge their people, consequently their groups remain small and underachieve. Instead of setting high expectations they keep their downline protected from responsibility and challenge in the hope that the people will stay in and not be overwhelmed. Our goal as marketers should be to set the bar high for our people and us. We want leaders who work hard, not thousands of people dependant upon us forever.

How do you feel about being rich?

When my wife and I were first married, we began to read Wallace Wattles’ book Science of Getting Rich. The very first paragraph of the book starts with the paragraph below.  We talked about it for 4 hours.  (In the end she has come to see my point of view):

WHATEVER may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money; for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with.
