I too believe that money is neutral. It seems to magnify our personality. If you are greedy broke, you will be greedy rich. If you are generous broke, you will be more generous rich.

Jeff: First I want to thank you for sharing this paragraph. Its weird how out of no where all of a sudden I have came across this book every day this week; or some one has mentioned it to me. So I am going to take the hint and read it already. I agree with the content. Money is neutral-its what you do with it that makes it positive or negative. Some people (not us) struggle with coming out and saying “I want to be rich” because they feel that it comes off snobbish. In order for me to be where I want to be and have the impact I want to have with people I associate with-I need money. Its simply a tool.

Obviously you haven’t obtained an animal from an Idaho shelter; they too require payment (for the neutering, etc. or at least the last time we obtained one from there but perhaps times have changed).

It may be true that blessed are the poor for they shall inherit the earth but everything I got in life was due to the labor of my own hands anyway and I never inherited a dang thing before now so why worry about that now.
